November 22, 2013 – the NYC Mayor’s Office issued a press release today announcing the preliminary results of its Food Waste Challenge. The City also announced that it is now working with Shulga Law’s client, a startup called MintScraps, to launch a cloud-based software platform. The MintScraps platform will help restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and other business track and visualize their waste streams to discover potential savings. MintScraps also provides a marketplace where businesses can post leftover food for pickup and non-profits and food banks can search for food to pick up. A copy of the release is available here.
November 15, 2013 – The United Venture Company invested over $200,000 in convertible debt issued by our client Channelkit, Inc. Channelkit is a Delaware-formed but Russian-operated startup that works on developing a system of digital bookmarks with social media components. Congrats, Channelkit! July 11, 2013 – Shulga Law Firm’s client clothing designer Paula Cheng is a finalist in the prestigious Internal Talent Support (ITS) competition, 2013.
